Fifty Words For Rain by Asha Lemmie

Paperback received from publishers in exchange of an honest review

How can I begin to describe this literature masterpiece?
No idea tbh
But imma try

Cruel
The author did not have the word “SUGAR QUOTE” in her dictionary, she gave us events, cruel ones, with no mercy, no sweet words, bad things happen, hurtful even, but she delivered them straight, truth is truth even if it hurts.

Beautiful
The writing wasn’t poetic, but it was beautiful nonetheless, you get what’s happening, you imagine where it’s happening and you most definitely feel what is happening, and that is something very rare, that i was beyond happy to find in this story

Emotional
I felt so many emotions while reading, from despair, to the verge of tears, to victory, to true sadness, everything was transparent and just A LOT.

Real
The author painted the truth of the world with all its ugliness and unfairness, and cruelty, and that is one of my favorite things about literature books, they give you something real that adds to you.
