A perfect mix between:
Sex And The City
Devils Wears Prada
so yeah i can honestly say: I think i just fell in love with fashion.
Sofia is a lawyer, she works in a law company, but her true passion lies in Fashion, but she chose the traditional way, she studied law and now is working full time as an attorney.
So when a client of hers asks her for a favor, to convince his ( kinda reckless son), to not work in fashion and get to his scenes?( he wanna start a new fashion a new fashion project, his 20th project this year) i mean, how could she? Fashion is her LITERALLY passion.
Things get a little bit tricky.
The book is about how one should not give up his dreams, and just keep fighting even if it doesn’t work out from the beginning it will later on. because it’s never too late.
It was a beautiful message delivered in such a very elegant way.
It was empowering of sorts, and you guys know how much empowering books mean to me.
I’m not a fashionista, like at all. I don’t do brands and these stuff, but let’s just admit that reading or even watching a fashion related show is satisfying for us girls.
Just as long as it’s not fake and just all superficial. learning about fashion just makes me feel so good. kind of luxurious.
and this is how this was book was to, it was a luxury break from all these traditional stories, about love and office jobs.
Sofia traveled all over, she’d be in Rome in the Morning, and late that night she’d be on a plane to Paris. and the next morning she would get on a plan from Paris to London.
She was traveling a lot, and it was insanely satisfying to read about.
I just looove travel books and this one was so unique because you don’t get to read about the city from a touristic POV, You get to know the brands Shops, streets, while getting deeply through the fashion industry in this city.
it was new of all sorts,, and i absolutely loved it.
why 4.5 STARS you ask?
well, you guys know, i’m a romance junkie, so having a couple to ship thro reading a book is essential to me, I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND that the main focus of the book is not the ROMANCE but i couldn’t help but feel like it needed more attention.
Every chapter started with one of CoCo Chanel’s Sayings and they were amazing!

Don’t spend time beating on a wall, hoping to transform it into a door.
My friends, there are no friends.
I invented my life by taking for granted that everything I did not like would have an opposite, which I would like.
A girl should be two things: who and what she wants.
If you were born without wings, do nothing to prevent them from growing.
The best colour in the whole world is the one that looks good on you.
How many cares one loses when one decides not to be something but to be someone.
