“Her laugh, her laugh was the sound that brought him out of the darkness and into the light. Her laugh dragged him, by his damn collar, through the bullshit clouding his mind and infecting his thoughts.”
Woahh!! I can’t believe I made it alive from this Roller Coaster.
I couldn’t even write a review for the second and the third books, I was so consumed and overwhelmed i couldn’t even stop to think about what’s happening.
MY Rating:FOUR STARS, /5
The book followed Tessa and Hardin in their Journey. The first half of the book was so freaking good! It was definitely a FIVE stars for me, and then the End began to appear and then the time gaps started to get wider. And I was like wait! Wait we are talking about months here not days, and then we started talking about years gaps, and that was it for me.
Let’s be clear about one something guys, I absolutely despise time gaps, especially when the whole characters change and I stand there like an idiot not getting what the hell is going on.
The whole series goes really slow, showing us what Hardin and Tessa do at every hour of their day, and that’s what actually made me fall in love with the story more and more. So the ending was not satisfying, not even a little bit.
The story is quite intriguing and unbelievably good. The problems that face Tessa and Hardin are actually not that Common so it wasn’t a repeated story for me.
Hardin was such an arrogant prick I hated him through a lot of chapters but, uh, OMG he was so Hot! I couldn’t help but fall in love just a little with him. ( not so little tho).
But the paragraphs of his book , ( the one he was writing) was so , hum,so good. It gives me goosebumps. I re-read those paragraphs over and over.
“Lastly, he hopes that wherever she may be as she read the book that he wrote for her, she will read it with a light heart and she will reach out to him, even if these words find her many years from now. She has to know that he hasn’t given up.”
Each book of the series is so big, not a single one of them is less than 500 pages but nevertheless, it was the perfect amount of Hessa.
“He prays that she will take every single word to heart, and that maybe, just maybe, she will still love him after everything they have gone through. He hopes that she will be able to remember why she loved him, why she fought so hard for him.”
I just don’t know what to do with my life now. Guys, seriously any advice is appreciated.
